About The Costume SurveyThe Survey is a guide to costume programs both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In the fall of 2003, the Survey added its first foreign University. Efforts continue to be made to expand this coverage. The Universities and Colleges provided the information in the Survey in response to a questionnaire. The date of the last revision of the information is noted for each entry. The Survey has a very high percentage of schools reporting in the last year. In 2002, Gordon Ferguson, a computer consultant, created a database that manages the Survey, controlling the format and making editing easier. In 2008 and again in 2011, Mr. Ferguson updated the format of the pages, giving the Survey a "New Look". The information in The Survey is reviewed and updated each year. Major revisions are done each fall. The last revision was made fall, 2011. It is also possible to go to the "How to Add Your School to the Survey" section and submit your corrections in the blank form provided. New schools are always welcome. |
